GONNA BE FINE

Justin McWilliams came on as producer and we recorded the first half of the record up in Rexdale at Littlewood Studios then mixed at Video Cabaret’s Theatre in Leslieville because I’m an associate artist there. Mixing took a long time and a lot of ugly things happened in our personal lives that we’d probably rather forget about. We were trying to call the record The Hard Way but there was a hiccup in the digital distributor’s software that put the record out under the name Gonna Be Fine. The songs were in the opposite order too from what we intended but we didn’t say anything though because we figured it was a better title anyway and perhaps an indication from the universe that I’m doing everything backwards.
